For half a century, Bruce Springsteen has been one of the world’s most revered musicians with a plethora of awards to his name.

Springsteen’s humble beginnings began in New Jersey where he made the rounds playing in clubs before signing with Columbia Records, aged twenty-two.

The release of Born to Run in 1975 brought Springsteen to a wider audience, which was followed by a string of critically acclaimed albums.

In 1984, Springsteen became a superstar with the release of Born in the U.S.A. Throughout the decades, Springsteen’s lyrics have chronicled life in America, providing listeners with insights into the political landscape of the present and past. This is no more apparent than his album The Ghost of Tom Joad, its name taken from the protagonist of John Steinbeck’s classic novel The Grapes of Wrath. Yet, this is only one aspect of Springsteen’s song writing, which is as personal as it is universal.

Springsteen is as comfortable as a solo artist as he is when leading his trusted E Street Band in the studio or on stage with concerts known to last for over three hours.
